"Preorder turned into a frustrating mess"
I preordered months ago and expected things to be handled better. There have been barely any updates, and I still don’t have a clear ship date. The whole thing feels preventable with better communication. I definitely won’t be doing this again...

"Not enough payment options for me"
I tried placing an order, but the payment options didn’t really work for me. I didn’t see the ones I usually use, and I’m personally not comfortable entering my card details on a site I haven’t ordered from before. Checkout ended up feeling more annoying than it should’ve been, so I just left my cart. I really wish they offered a few more common payment options.

"Decent store, but the advice was shaky"
I’ll give them credit for being friendly enough, but I’m not totally convinced they knew much about the kit I asked about. I had a few basic questions, and they had to look up almost everything, then still gave me answers that didn’t really match up. Maybe they were just having an off day, but I felt like I got clearer info from a quick Google search. I’d probably shop there if I already knew what I needed, but I wouldn’t go back expecting much advice.

"My order took way longer to ship..."
My order took way longer to ship than I expected, and I barely got any updates along the way. I kept having to check on it myself, which was frustrating enough, but when I reached out, the response kind of made me feel like I was being talked down to for even asking. Maybe it was just a one-off, but between the slow shipping and the way it was handled, I probably wouldn’t order from them again.

"Still remember how uncomfortable it felt"
I went in just planning to browse for a bit, but I remember the whole place feeling really tense and not very welcoming. It wasn’t just quiet in a calm way, it had this awkward vibe that made me feel like I was bothering someone by being there. Maybe it was just the day I went, and I’m sure some people might not mind it, but based on what I remember, I didn’t enjoy the experience at all.

"Rough first impression of the website"
My first impression of smokeandmirrorshobby.com wasn’t great, and it kind of stuck with me the whole time. The site felt clunky right away, and I had a harder time than expected just trying to find what I was looking for. By the time I got to checkout, it still didn’t feel very smooth, so I ended up giving up after poking around for a while. Maybe other people have a better experience, but it wasn’t working for me.

"Not really worth the hassle"
It wasn’t the best experience for me. The site itself was fine enough to use, so I kind of assumed the rest would be straightforward too, but after I placed my order things felt slow and unclear. I kept having to check for updates myself, and I probably jumped to thinking something was wrong because there wasn’t much communication. Maybe other people had a smoother time, but for me it ended up being more hassle than I expected, so I don’t think I’d use them again

"Wish I Had Skipped This Promo"
I thought the promo was going to be a decent deal, but after using it, I kind of regret going for it. The value just wasn’t there, and it felt like I ended up spending more than I expected for not much in return. "Packaging is hit or miss"
The packaging was disappointing. The box showed up crushed, there wasn’t any padding inside, and the item ended up with some scuffs. Seems like it might be hit or miss, but my order definitely didn’t arrive in great shape.

"Pretty messy event, probably won’t go back"
I went to an event there it felt really unorganized. Maybe I just showed up on a bad day, and I’ll admit I was already a little tired, but the start time changed, the staff seemed confused, and the players were just standing around waiting. I left feeling more annoyed than anything.

I was browsing the site and it just didn’t feel very trustworthy to me. I couldn’t really tell what was legit and what wasn’t, and there didn’t seem to be any real human contact available if I had questions or needed help. Maybe it’s totally fine, but the lack of a person to talk to made me uneasy, so I backed out before placing an order

"Not sure the loyalty rewards are worth it"
I’ve been ordering for a while, i’m starting to wonder if I’m missing something with the rewards program. The points don’t always seem to show up correctly, and when I reached out to support, they weren’t really able to help much. Maybe my expectations were too high, but it doesn’t feel like much of a loyalty program if customers have to keep chasing down the rewards.

"Not the best live break experience"
I hopped into a live break and quickly assumed it was going to be a little chaotic, it kind of was. The stream felt all over the place, the updates were slow, and I kept having to guess what was happening. Maybe I expected too much, but shipping also took longer than I thought it would. Overall, not something I’d be in a rush to try again.
